We are in for a great night of metal, as Awake Again and IKINÄ, as well as a later to be released warm up act, will be taking to the stage at Ilokivi Venue!
Awake Again is a four-piece alternative metal band that fearlessly combines metal, post-hardcore, and pop elements in their music. The band has already toured a lot during their career, including Ruisrock and the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany as part of the Wacken Metal Battle finals.
The band’s debut album No Matter How The World Turns was released in 2022 and received excellent reviews in the Finnish music media. In spring 2024, the band released a new EP entitled A PROMISE OF BETTER DAYS.
The metal band IKINÄ is known for its captivating and high-energy live performances. Interpreting modern metal, the band has dived towards its metallic core and plays more brutal than ever.
IKINÄ has released three full-length albums IKINÄ (2023), Millenniaalin itsehoito-opas epävarmaan aikuisuuteen (2019, Sakara Records) and Samoista soluista (2017, Sakara Records), played numerous club gigs including Province and Nummirock, and warmed up the decks on tours with Soilwork, Mokoma, Stam1na and others.
