The sixth edition of RossFest is traditionally held again at Ilokivi Venue. Four bands will take to the stage during the evening.

DEFEAT is a trio from Jyväskylä offering new and original rock music. The band has performed outside of Finland and their gigs are always played with emotion and professionalism – without sparing anything.
DEFEAT is a mix of at least punk, hard rock, plus a pinch of metal and old-school guitar riffs. The band’s ideology is simple: tight songs, sweaty gigs and hard-hitting stage presence that’s proven to stick with the crowd. Always.

Rujo Katras
Rujo Katras was founded in Jyväskylä in 2013 by a group of brothers. Over the years the style has been refined to Thrash/heavymetal. The band has played a lot of gigs and has also performed with well-known bands.
The songs are about the challenges of everyday life and the trials and tribulations that life brings, which the listener can relate to. Musically, the song structures consist of fast-paced riffs with rhythm changes and heavy sounds.

Funeral night
Oh, they’re from Iisalmi?
Funeral Night is a metal band from Upper Savo, distilled in Olvi beer. In addition to a great home base, the band serves up cool & heavy pedaling and a relentless attitude. Funeral night and tight gigs fit together like Koivukuja in the centre of Iisalmi.
Hautajaisyö plays Finnish death metal mixed with a generous dose of metal’s blacker shades. The band playfully calls their style “Koljonvirtacore” after the river in their home village, which played an important role in the Finnish war of 1808.
The band has toured all over Finland and has even visited the other side of the border. Now in their fifth album, the metal juggernaut has a strong underground following.
On 12.12.2024 the band released a new EP to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.

Rimbacher
Rimbacher is a traditional Hard Rock / AOR band from Jyväskylä, founded in January 2020, whose music is based on turbocharged Aussie rock and the glamorous stadium atmosphere and guitar heroics of the Sunset Strip. With a reputation as a tight and fierce but professional live band, Rimbacher has won over the rock crowd over the past year as opener for Michael Monroe’s Demolition 23 and at Hard Rock Korppi and Parfest events.

Ilokivi Game Nights are back! During the spring of 2025 JYY collaborates with Ilokivi Venue to organize seven game nights. At the game nights you can play a variety of card, board and video games and meet new people. On Thursday, April 17th the game night is in restaurant Ilokivi.
