Teatteri W's first work Hukka is a magical realist adventure play about work, dreams and revenge. Ässä, who is looking for a job, despite his many attempts, cannot find his place in working life, until finally his singing voice leads him to become a member of a one-person duet. When the road to success seems to have finally opened, an invitation is also extended to the famous gig venue Hukka. Ässä's friends try to convince him that Hukka is a scary place, but Ässä doesn't listen. Once the agreement is made, there is no going back. Welcome to Hukka!

Through tragicomic twists, Hukka poignantly tells about a young adult’s experience of pursuing dreams and transitioning to adulthood. After the hopeful picture of the future in youth, the difficulty of getting a job is revealed, and when you finally get your dream job, it turns out to be a scam and ruins your life. What remains is the bitter feeling of being completely lost. “This is the story of every millennial at some point in life and a connecting experience,” describes the work’s director Viivi Seppänen.
