Tiikerin vuosi is celebrating their album release at Ilokivi Venue on May 9th. During the night Nelosolut and Säätövara will also be getting up on the stage. This gig promises an excellent and unique night full of Finnish rock music.
Tiikerin vuosi, the Finnish rock torchbearer with strong roots in Jyväskylä, is releasing their highly anticipated debut album in April. The band has gained attention on Yle’s music board programme, as they majestically blend Nashville-style guitar rock with poetic, embellished folk music lyrics. This creates Kaihorock; the music sounds like a Finnish fairytale filled with battered fates, finished with a velvety layer of country dust.
Having polished their sound through over 90 live shows Tiikerin vuosi offers a smooth ensemble and energetic stage presence that promises something for every concertgoer. The band has opened for bands like Arppa, Kuningasidea, and Ursus Factory and at Ilokivi Venue the band will deliver an experience that fits perfectly into the Venue’s iconic rock canon.
